On Sunday, June 2nd, during the Salute to Israel Parade, Rabbis and laymen from the Anti-Zionist Jewish communities of New York, will stage various activities in NYC, to voice their outrage of the celebration of the State of Israel – an entity that is a rebellion against the Almighty.
At 11AM a protest will take place at 5th Avenue between 58th and 59th street, at the starting point of the parade.
At 2:00 a protest will take place at 5th avenue corner of 72nd Street, at the entrance of Central Park, during the Israel Day Concert in the park.
Throughout the day, a convoy of vehicles will circle the local streets of Manhattan, displaying large banners, expressing the Torah True Jewish opposition to the philosophy of Zionism and the existence of the State of Israel.
Early afternoon (11:30am – 3:00pm) an aerial banner will circle the skies of Manhattan, Brooklyn and New Jersey, declaring: "Judaism Rejects Zionism and the State of Israel – www.nkusa.org"
Rabbi Yisroel Dovid Weiss, a spokesman for Neturei Karta International explained the motive of the upcoming planned activities: "for the past two thousand years, Jews throughout the world, have respected and strictly upheld the religion of Judaism and accepted the divine decree of Exile. According to Jewish belief, since the destruction of the holy temple in Jerusalem, Jews are forbidden to create their own sovereignty. Certainly it is forbidden to acquire this sovereignty by oppressing another people, the Palestinian people".
The rabbi added: "This rebellion against the Almighty is the root cause of the endless bloodshed in the Holy Land. Â The movement of Zionism has created a deep-seated animosity between Jews and Arabs in the Middle East, a phenomenon that has not existed before and has exacerbated anti-Semitism throughout the world". Â
The rabbi concluded: "We pray for the speedy and peaceful dismantlement of the State of Israel and ultimately for the revelation of the glory of the Almighty, when all humankind will serve the Almighty in harmony and joy. Amen".
