On Sunday, October 18, a pro-Israel rally took place in the heart of Times Square. This event followed recent aggressive actions by Zionist leaders concerning Al-Aqsa, which have triggered a new wave of violence and unrest. Unfortunately, these provocations have led to yet another conflict with the Palestinian people.
While Zionist groups gathered in New York City to spread their narrative, portraying themselves as defenders of Jewish lives amidst a wave of stabbings, just across the street, a diverse coalition of individuals stood united for peace and justice. Jews and Palestinians came together to demonstrate that the real issue is not one of religion but rather the political ideology of Zionism, which continues to cause bloodshed.
Rabbi Dovid Feldman addressed the counter-protest, countering the Zionist propaganda and clarifying the Jewish perspective on Zionism. He specifically condemned the recent attacks on Al-Aqsa, emphasizing that such actions are against the principles of the Jewish religion.
