Zionist Intimidation Will Not Silence Advocates for Palestine: Press Conference and Rally

On April 15, 2025, a powerful press conference and rally took place at The Summit NYC, located on 43rd Street between 2nd and 3rd Avenue. Organized by the group Within Our Lifetime, the event served as a testament to the unwavering determination of activists who refuse to be silenced in their advocacy for Palestine, even in the face of intimidation and violence.

This gathering followed a disturbing incident that occurred just days earlier. On Monday, April 7, during a demonstration marking UN World Health Day, a Zionist individual residing in The Summit NYC apartment complex carried out an act of aggression from their balcony. The individual hurled bleach, feces, and heavy objects onto the street below while displaying an Israeli flag. One of the objects shattered a car windshield, while the toxic materials splashed onto protesters, including children and elderly attendees. This shocking display of hostility underscored the lengths to which some Zionists are willing to go to suppress dissent.

At the press conference, leaders made it unequivocally clear that nothing—not even such brazen acts of intimidation—will deter them from speaking out against the ongoing genocide in Gaza, which has now persisted for over 18 months. Anti-Zionist Jews were among those in attendance, demonstrating solidarity with the Palestinian cause. Rabbi Yisroel Dovid Weiss delivered a poignant speech, condemning the world’s silence on Zionist crimes and drawing attention to the recent hate crime that occurred in broad daylight in New York City.
