Nakba 77 Commemoration at the United Nations: Anti-Zionist Jews Stand in Solidarity with Palestine

On May 15–16, 2025, leaders from the world gathered at the United Nations Headquarters in New York City to commemorate the 77th anniversary of the Nakba.

Anti-Zionist Jews attended in solidarity.

Participants listened, reflected upon, and mourned the suffering of the Palestinian people, who for 77 years have endured continuous crimes, destruction, and the erasure of entire families. The presence of a delegation of anti-Zionist rabbis was a significant highlight of the event.

Rabbi Yisroel Dovid Weiss, speaking on the first day of the commemoration, addressed the international community regarding the ongoing suffering of Palestinians. His message resonated deeply amid the backdrop of the current genocide in Gaza, which has persisted for the past 20 months—one of the most horrific humanitarian crises in modern history.

On the second day of the United Nations conference, Rabbi Dovid Feldman addressed the Assembly, stating, “We share and feel the pain of Palestine.” Rabbi Feldman expressed unwavering solidarity with the Palestinian people and reaffirmed his commitment to justice and to the cause of Palestine.

The delegation of Jewish rabbis also met with leaders of various nations and clearly expressed Jewish opposition to the State of Israel and all its crimes. They especially condemned the misuse of the Jewish religion to justify these atrocities, declaring it completely false and in direct contradiction to true Jewish belief.

At the same time, the rabbis reminded the world of the difference between Judaism and Zionism.
