A rally and vigil were held at William Paterson University in Wayne, New Jersey, on October 16, 2023. The event was organized by Students for Justice in Palestine (SJP) in collaboration with the Palestinian American Community Center (PACC) and American Muslims for Palestine New Jersey (AMP NJ) to honor those who have died due to recent attacks in Gaza.
Anti-Zionist Jews were present at the event, and Rabbi Yisroel Dovid Weiss gave a speech condemning Zionist actions. He explained how the principles of the Jewish religion stand against everything that Zionism represents.
