A plea to the non-Jewish supporters of the “state of Israel” sympathy for Zionism is misplaced sympathy for the Jewish people

As we speak before a great assembly of Americans who have gathered together for many moral issues and also because of their feelings of concern for the Jewish People, we must make some very important and vital clarifications. It is of enormous importance that there are so many Americans who support strong issues like family values and the right to life, and we are grateful for that. In fact, we have stood side by side in previous rallies, in support of such values. However, sympathy for the Zionist state is misplaced compassion and concern for the Jewish People. It is a great error, and everyone can see that the behavior of the Zionist state is the root cause of anti-Jewish hatred. Therefore it would be most urgent for those who are concerned about the Jewish People, to know that Zionism has been the greatest danger to the physical and spiritual well-being of the Jewish People everywhere, and especially in the Holy Land. Indeed, it is an undeniable fact that it is the cause of anti-Jewish hatred in the world today.

As is written in the Holy Torah and conveyed to us by our leading rabbinical authorities universally, we are forbidden to act by force of arms and violence against any people, including in the Holy Land. The Jewish people are in a state of divinely ordained Exile since the destruction of the Jewish Temple some 2000 years ago. And we are expressly forbidden to physically attempt to leave exile; only prayer is permitted in order to achieve this goal. It is important to note that the end of exile – redemption, does not mean a “State of Israel”, but rather a time of universal peace and brotherhood in service of the One God. Exile means that Jews are required to be loyal citizens in every country in which they live, and means that they must not rule over any other people, rebel against any nation, oppress any nation, or go up en masse to the Holy Land.

It is a tragic mistake and desecration of everything holy to Judaism that the Zionist heretics claim the Holy Land in the name of the Bible, bringing about mass invasion, conquest, and displacement of the native inhabitants of Palestine, who are entitled to sovereignty throughout their native homeland, where they have lived for countless centuries. Thus, those concerned about the Jewish People and about human rights for everyone must face the facts of Zionist heresy and what it has wrought in historic Palestine. The horrible desecration of Judaism can only be reversed through the dismantling of the Zionist state. We fervently pray that this should come about speedily and through peaceful means.

Anyone with even the slightest knowledge of history and current events knows that the Zionist state has been the greatest tragedy for the Jewish People, creating conflict with the Muslims and Arabs, with whom Jews have lived in peace and harmony for many centuries throughout the world from Morocco to Iraq, from Casablanca to Baghdad!

There will only be peace and harmony when the Palestinian people are able to live in freedom and self-rule throughout historic Palestine, without the racist oppression of Zionism. Only when the Palestinian refugees are allowed to return to their native soil will there be peace in the Holy Land!

We pray for an end to the suffering of the Palestinians and Jews and all suffering people worldwide. We anxiously await the implementation of all laws of human rights and justice, in order to dismantle the idolatrous wicked Zionist state. We welcome the opportunity to dwell in peace in the holy land in free historic Palestine, free of Zionist control. We, who are loyal to our Torah and to the teachings of our authentic rabbis throughout history, anxiously await the day of messianic redemption when the entire world will recognize the One G-d and serve Him in harmony and brotherhood with no coercion whatsoever. Amen.

Remember: “Israel” Does Not Speak for Jewry or Judaism.
