“I have had a difficult time reconciling being a Jew with the actions of the State of Israel.“

I came across you on Mint Press. I am so happy to read that there are other Jews that feel the way I do about Israel. Seeing what is done to Palestinians first hand shocked me when I visited Israel. I have had a difficult time reconciling being a Jew with the actions of the State of Israel.

“You are an inspiration and a guide to the Jewish people“

Shalom, O Preservers of the truth faith of Abraham. You are an inspiration and a guide to the Jewish people. I am a Jew who grew up with little ties to the religion of my family but now I want to learn more about this world-changing faith. But I cannot allow myself to associate or learn from the racist, chauvinistic, war-mongering Zionists that populate so many of the synagogues. My heart is with the Palestinian resistance and I abhor the Occupation. When I came across Rabbi Weiss I recognized him in my heart as a teacher most fit to teach the Message of Abraham and the prophets. Is it possible to study under the guidance of Rabbi Weiss or his fellow teachers? Or can you please guide me to the proper place where I can study the faith while maintaining my links of solidarity with the Palestinian resistance? I thank you very much for your time. I live in Manhattan my cell phone number is 646 330 7450 (text message is best way to reach me). It would be an honor to have the opportunity to learn the true meaning of Judaism from such men of integrity and compassion as Rabbi Weiss. Sincerely, Joseph

“I have always been upset and angry at Israel's lack of tolerance“

I was pleasantly surprised to find out about you website. My paternal Jewish ancestors were from Eastern Europe and my maternal Jewish ancestors were from Spain and Mexico. I have always been upset and angry at Israel's lack of tolerance for Arab and African people. It is good to know you exist.

“Now it all makes sense and all falls into place“

I have recently embraced Judaism... Your videos spoke to me as previously I was uneasy about what I was seeing and perceiving about the State of Israel, while at the same time being drawn to Judaism by my study of The Torah (I discarded the New Testament many months ago.) Now it all makes sense and all falls into place. I can donate by post as I do to Chabad I enjoy Torah and love the presence of Hashem.

“A friend of mine was nearly choked to death by a policeman“

Dear Friends, this message is from a resident of Eretz Yisroel. Thank you for coming to this event and thank for all the gatherings and protests that you attend. It gives us much needed chizuk. The Zionists have never had more power than they have today and they make our lives very difficult. We strive for faith in Hashem but our spirits still sag. I personally feel so broken. I try to hide it from my family, but I am telling you. The government, the media, the police, the many anti-religious people in the Zionist state just pound us and try to tear us down. They are so violent! I just sat at a bar mitzvah with a man who showed me his wounds from a stun grenade. A friend of mine was nearly choked to death by a policeman. This man is the gentlest of people. When we see photos of your gatherings, when we see Chassidic children marching with signs that remind us that Zionism is not Judaism, it lifts us up. May Hashem bless Satmar with a thousand blessings. The Satmar Rebbe saw it all coming. He saw everything. And Neturei Karta. Bless you. And the followers of the Brisker Rav and Rav Avigdor Miller, the American supporters of the Eidah Charedis. Bless you all a thousand times. The Central Rabbinical Congress, bless you. The True Torah Jews organization. Bless you. Toldos Aharon and Toldos Avraham Yitzchok. Bless you. The Toldos Aaron Rebbe, Rav Avraham Yitzchok Kahn, said that Zionism has become much worse in the eyes of Hashem since religious Jews became the biggest Zionists. Many frum Jews in Eretz Yisroel are swept up in it, the propaganda here is so widespread and the Zionists have such control of our lives. We need you in America to remind us, Zionism is not Judaism. I’m sorry for those that I am not mentioning. Hashem knows who you are and He will reward you for standing up to this final test of history. Thank you, thank you, thank you.

“What we see today unfolding in Israel is horrific and … not Jewish at all“

Rabbi Dovid Weiss
Hallo
I want to share my gratitude for you as Jews that hold to the values of justice and the Torah. I don't practice Judaism as orthodox Jew, but definitely have a lot in common on the basis of our Jewish origins, background and values. What we see today unfolding in Israel is horrific, and definitely can be defined as - not Jewish at all. Learning more (now days) on the establishment of Israel, and who stands behind it, just confirms the fact that the Israeli government is in the hands of an evil cabal, that misuses the Jewish people on the worst thinkable way. It is good and important that we, who witness all that, make a voice on that matter and on what we see.
Best regards and take care

“I did alyah many years ago and it was a big disaster in my life“

Dear Naturei Karta. I am a Reform Jew. I did alyah many years ago and it was a big disaster in my life. Now, I wrote a book telling my stories. In the book, I say it’s nice that groups like you stands - Israel doesn't represent all of us. I want to publish my book in English, I need someone that speaks English better than me to translate it. … In the book, I also say that Zionism has something to do with the Devil: they sent me a one way ticket to Israel on my mother's birthday. We can discuss about it: Zionism and Devil.
Just one more question: is there iidish classes at NYC? I still wish to learn iidish. בעסטע גרוסען

“After watching the recent occurrences in Gaza… I was ready to give up on my religion“

I am a Jew born in Brooklyn NY, 60 years old and currently living in Brazil. I grew up of Eastern European decent, my grandparents coming from Poland and Romania. I was bar-mitzvahed and grew up in Williamsburg where I went to Hebrew school at the Keap St. Talmud Torah under Rabbi Teitz and his family. I did not grow up religious and neither my father nor my mother raised us as good Jews, as they were not good Jews themselves. They however grew up in kosher homes and both spoke Yiddish.
I spent several hours today watching videos of Rabbi Weiss and I felt the need to write and thank you. I have always considered myself a person of conscious and have always opposed war going back to when i was young during the Vietnam war. These are difficult times and after watching the recent occurrences in Gaza, I must say that I was ready to give up on my religion. After commenting on Facebook, I found a great deal of resistance from friends who I grew up with. I have been called a self-hating Jew, an anti-Semite, a bad Jew. I've even been told that I should be ashamed of myself for supporting Palestinians in this time that Israel is in such need. I have met some Palestinians in my life, most local merchants who sold newspapers and magazines in different locations throughout NYC. I have never met one, not one, who resented me because I was a Jew. All of the Palestinians I've met were always friendly, humble, and respectful. Ironically, I have met many Israeli's who I didn't like. They were aggressive, disrespectful and brazen. I can also say that I've met some Israeli's that I like as well. Throughout the years I've seen what the Zionists have done to annihilate the Palestinian people. This last excursion into Gaza has been a bloodbath and I cry over the many women and children who have been victimized by the State of Israel. It has made me quite bitter and as I mentioned, I've considered giving up on my religion. Today I feel redeemed after listening to the wise words of Rabbi Weiss. If he's ever in Rio De Janeiro, it would be my pleasure to take tzivlim with him and thank him for my redemption.

“People who prefer to be rather good Israelis instead of being good Jews“

The Jewish brethren in Caldas and those in the land of Antioquia, to their Jewish brethren in NY & Jerusalem, Greeting, and good peace.
May God do good to you, and may He remember His covenant with Abraham and Isaac and Jacob, His faithful servants. May He give you all a heart to worship Him and to do His will with a strong heart and a willing spirit. May He open your heart to His law and His commandments, and may he bring peace. May He hear your prayers and be reconciled to you, and may He not forsake you in time of evil. We are now praying for you here.
I want to know how to join Nuturei Karta, be a student of Torah guided by Neturei Karta teachings.
I would like to initiate studies with you, not only on anti-Zionist themes, But on Torah. because you are the most respectable branch of Orthodox Judaism.
For now I would like to help me away (online) because in my country I am alone, surrounded by people who prefer to be rather good Israelis instead of being good Jews.
Thank you for your answer, and I hope to help you soon.
Shalom
