Anti-Zionist Jews Counter-Protest Zionists in Times Square as Tensions Rise Over Al-Aqsa Compound

In October 2015, tensions escalated dramatically in the Middle East due to renewed aggression and ongoing disputes over the Al-Aqsa compound, a site of immense religious and cultural significance. The situation took a dire turn as actions perceived as direct affronts to Palestinian rights sparked widespread unrest. In response to the growing crisis, Zionist supporters organized a rally in Times Square, waving Israeli flags to express solidarity with Zionism

However, the rally was met with fierce opposition from anti-Zionist Jews and other counter-protesters who gathered to voice their dissent. Carrying signs that condemned the aggression against Palestinians and the desecration of Al-Aqsa, these activists highlighted what they described as the hypocrisy of the Zionist narrative. They accused Zionists of masking their role in the bloodshed while portraying themselves as saviors, arguing that the reality was quite the opposite.

Rabbi Dovid Feldman addressed the crowd, explaining that it was the Zionist movement that created the hate. He emphasized that Jews and Muslims had no problem coexisting peacefully in the past and could still live in harmony today.

The counter-protest continued with tensions escalating as some Zionists attempted to assault the anti-Zionist protesters. However, thanks to the NYPD’s intervention—and with God’s help—the situation ended safely without further incident.
