On Wednesday, February 11, 2026, as Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu met with President Donald Trump at the White House—his seventh meeting with Trump since the start of the president’s second term in January 2025—anti-Zionist Jews demonstrated outside the White House to make clear that Netanyahu does not speak in the name of the Jewish people or the Jewish religion. The protest took place at a tense time, as Israel was intensifying efforts to draw the United States into a major war with the Islamic Republic of Iran.
Demonstrators held signs reading, “Israel’s war-mongering against Iran is part of its crimes and a violation of Judaism,” and “Judaism stands for peace, not for war with Iran.”
Beginning at 9:00 a.m., a delegation of Jews arrived from across the United States to join the call condemning Israel for claiming to speak on behalf of world Jewry.
The group stood for many hours before and during the meeting at the White House, addressing gathered crowds and speaking with members of the press. Later in the afternoon, the anti-Zionist Jews joined a large pro-Palestine protest at Lafayette Park. Rabbi Yisroel Dovid Weiss addressed the crowd, urging President Trump to use his position to change course:
“You’ve been given a great political position, but don’t forget: ultimately you will answer to God, and your success lies in the hands of God and in the annals of history. You will go down either to … or as a hero. Therefore, you must stand up. We plead with our president: you have the opportunity to prove to the world that you are a hero by simply turning to Netanyahu and saying, ‘I’ve had enough of this. I want to do what’s right and free Palestine.’”
In a separate interview, Rabbi Dovid Feldman stated, “We are for peace, not for war. Netanyahu came here misrepresenting our people and misrepresenting the Jewish religion.”
Netanyahu shame on you!
