Delegation of Jewish Rabbis Pay Respect at Funeral of Iran’s Foreign Minister

On May 23, 2024, a delegation of Jewish rabbis attended the funeral of Iran’s Foreign Minister, H.E. Hossein Amir-Abdollahian. The funeral was held at the Foreign Ministry building in Tehran.

The Jewish communities have had a great relationship with Iran’s Foreign Minister. On December 24, 2023, the Foreign Minister received a delegation of Neturei Karta International (NKI) in Tehran. During their conversation, the Foreign Minister said that he had recently met with four different Palestinian factions, all of whom stated that their problem is not with Jews or Judaism, but solely with the Zionist occupation of Palestine.

During the funeral ceremony, the rabbis met with members of parliament, including the head of parliament, to convey their condolences. They also met with leaders and representatives of Iranian communities, showing sympathy for the Iranian people in this difficult time. The delegation was received with appreciation.

The delegation’s presence once again proves that the problem is not with Jews or Judaism, but with the movement of Zionism.
