Flood NYU for Gaza: Hundreds Rally in Support of Fired Nurse Hesen

“Flood NYU for Gaza & Censorship” and “STAND WITH HESEN” protests took place on Friday, June 14, 2024. This occurred while hospitals were being destroyed in Gaza. A courageous nurse, Hesen, spoke out in solidarity with healthcare workers in Gaza during her acceptance speech for a Compassionate Care Award by NYU Tisch Hospital in New York City. As a result, she was wrongfully fired from her job at NYU for standing up against genocide.

A rally to show that the people STAND WITH HESEN drew hundreds of people from across metropolitan NYC in front of NYU Hospital. Rabbi Dovid Feldman from Neturei Karta International spoke at the rally in support of Hesen.
