On January 14, 2024, while the ongoing Israeli actions in Gaza were taking place against the Palestinian people, world leaders gathered at the Lionel Hotel in Istanbul, Turkey, to address the current situation in Gaza and the occupation in general.

Representatives of the Jewish people from the USA and Canada were invited to present an anti-Zionist Jewish stance on the issue. Rabbi Yisroel Dovid Weiss addressed the conference.
