IDF Soldiers Chased from Anti-Zionist Jerusalem Neighborhood

On Thursday night, July 30, 2026, members of Jerusalem’s Orthodox anti-Zionist community confronted and chased several off-duty IDF soldiers from the area. During the confrontation, protesters denounced the soldiers as “Nazis” and “murderers.”

Israeli Border Police were dispatched to rescue the soldiers but were also met with fierce resistance. Bottles, rocks, and other objects were reportedly thrown toward the soldiers and police. Video footage and media reports showed the soldiers fleeing as the crowd followed them.

The incident comes amid the Orthodox community’s intensifying struggle against forced military conscription and the Zionist draft system. Increasing numbers of religious Jews are rejecting the propaganda that portrays Zionism as the protector of the Jewish people. Instead, they are recognizing that Zionism is not the solution but a cause of continuing conflict, bloodshed, and danger for Jews and Palestinians alike.

This incident also serves as another reminder that Zionism is not Judaism and that the Zionist ideology is clearly forbidden according to traditional Jewish teachings. We hope that increasing numbers of people will abandon Zionism, awaken to the truth, and take the necessary steps toward lasting peace and justice for all.
