On Friday, May 10, 2024, during a vote to adopt a proposed resolution to recognize Palestine as a full UN member, which eventually passed with an overwhelming majority of 143 out of the 193 member states of the United Nations, a delegation of religious Jews from Neturei Karta International stood outside the UN headquarters and addressed the press, chanting pro-Palestinian slogans.
The rabbis expressed their congratulations for Palestine, stressing that they hope this will lead to a total free Palestine and to the peaceful dismantlement of the Zionist entity, which they see as a rebellion against Jewish religion and the root cause of so much bloodshed.
