On Tuesday, July 8th at 7:00 PM , a powerful event took place on the topic “Judaísmo, sionismo e a ruptura com ‘Israel'” (translated into English as “Judaism, Zionism vs. ‘Israel'” ) at the Metal Workers Union in Sorocaba, Brazil. The event featured Rui Costa Pimenta , national president of the PCO (Brazilian Communist Party); Ahmed Shehada , president of Ibraspal (Brazilian Social Democracy Institute); and Rabbi Yisroel David Weiss , an anti-Zionist rabbi.
