Netanyahu’s Speech to U.S. Congress Met with Massive Protests

On Wednesday, July 24, 2024, while war criminal Benjamin Netanyahu delivered a speech to the U.S. Congress, tens of thousands of passionate Americans gathered in Washington, D.C., near the U.S. Capitol to protest his visit.
The “National Mobilization—All Out to the Capitol” rally was organized and endorsed by over 500 organizations, protesting against Netanyahu, who is responsible for a nine-month-long genocide in marked by relentless bombings and blockades in Gaza.
Among the protesters were Anti-Zionist Jews, who emphasized that “Benjamin Netanyahu does not speak for world Jewry; Israel does not represent Judaism.”
Rabbi Feldman, speaking on behalf of the Jewish anti-Zionist communities, declared during his speech: “Therefore we are here today as representatives of the Jewish people to condemn Netanyahu and the state he represents. You are a war criminal. Your hands are covered in blood. Enough with the brutality, enough with the unjust occupation, enough with Zionist propaganda.”
Rabbi Feldman continued to explain to the masses the difference between Judaism and Zionism and declared that the whole occupation must end, saying, “Therefore we demand an end not just to the current war, not just a permanent ceasefire, but a complete end to the entire occupation of Palestine, from the river to the sea.”
After the speeches of many organizations and leaders, the protest went into marching for hours during the peak heat of summer. The voice of the masses was loud and clear: “Arrest Netanyahu, We don’t want the war criminal here.”
