Protest Against War Criminal Netanyahu in Washington DC

On July 8, 2025 , after a full day of protesting the presence of war criminal Benjamin Netanyahu as he arrived to meet with President Trump at the White House, another day of demonstrations was held. The protest began at the Senate building at 10 a.m., as Netanyahu was scheduled to meet with leaders of the House of Representatives. Demonstrators gathered to urge their elected officials to condemn Netanyahu and his actions.

Rabbi Dovid Feldman addressed the protest in a long speech. He described, with tears in his eyes, how troubling it was when he visited Gaza in 2009 — seeing orphans and widows, homeless people, families living under corrugated plastic with holes in them. The rain would pour right through. Roads were destroyed, and the suffering seemed endless.

He continued, “But unfortunately, what we are seeing today is way worse — worse than anyone could have imagined. Who would have thought it would come to this point, where we are seeing little children starved to death?”

In conclusion, Rabbi Feldman said that Netanyahu is using Judaism to cover up all these crimes. “Our religion is being misused to justify all these crimes”. and added “By the way, this is misused by whom? Misused by people who refuse to follow the very same religion. They misuse it to support crimes which are forbidden in this very same religion. This is a true desecration of the Jewish religion.”

He added, “But in addition to all of this, this is causing danger to the Jewish people as well.”

In another action, a delegation of protesters entered the House and attempted to enter Senator Chuck Schumer’s office to request a meeting with him. Rabbi Dovid Feldman, who participated in the action, delivered a short message stating that the Senate should understand: support for Israel is not support for Jewish people — on the contrary, it endangers Jews around the world.

The protest then continued outside, where demonstrators made clear to the leaders of the House that Jews around the globe oppose Zionism and the actions being carried out in their name.

Additional protest actions continued throughout the day at the Blair House and later again at the White House, as Netanyahu met with President Trump for the second consecutive day.

After protesting for two consecutive days, Rabbi Dovid Feldman gave an interview with Hispan TV at Union Station on his way home. In the interview, he expressed his strong opposition to Zionism and condemned Netanyahu’s actions in Gaza, calling him a war criminal who belongs in The Hague, not in Washington, D.C.
