Anti-Zionist Jews express relief as a ceasefire is finally implemented in Gaza, bringing an end to 471 days of Israeli violence and genocide in Gaza. During this period, Gaza endured unimaginable devastation, heartbreaking tragedies, and relentless massacres.
In addition to the officially recorded tens of thousands murdered, entire families vanished or remained without a roof over their heads, and countless individuals are injured. The entire infrastructure has been destroyed: homes, schools, universities, and hospitals have been reduced to rubble. Entire villages have been flattened to the ground.
The pain endured by the people of Gaza is beyond comprehension. Returning to normal life after such suffering is impossible without collective global action. It is the responsibility of the international community to ease their pain. Communities and individuals must unite to deliver aid and demand justice and accountability for this genocide.
While this ceasefire brings partial relief, the reality of the siege and the ongoing occupation remind us that the oppression is far from over. Palestinians remain displaced and oppressed under Israel’s occupation, with the ideology of Zionism perpetuating their suffering.
Over the past 15 months, the world has witnessed these atrocities, prompting millions of people from diverse backgrounds, including countless Jewish voices, to stand in solidarity with Palestinians. During this time, Zionist supporters accused the brave people who stood up for justice in these dark days of being anti-Semitic and labeled critics of this genocide as anti-Semitic.
However, Neturei Karta International, as a Jewish organization dedicated to exposing Zionism and its actions, affirms that extending an assisting hand to the suffering people of Palestine is a righteous cause and not anti-Semitic at all. On the contrary, the State of Israel is a catastrophe not just for Palestine but for the Jewish people as well. Zionism has dismantled centuries of peaceful coexistence between Jews and Palestinians. Before its emergence, these communities lived in harmony. The Zionist occupation and ethnic cleansing disrupted this peace, replacing it with injustice, violence, and oppression, resulting in an endless cycle of bloodshed.
We remind the world that all these crimes committed by Israel are in violation of the Jewish religion and accepted standards of human rights.
Judaism, as taught in the Torah, forbids killing, stealing, and oppression. Zionism, however, directly contradicts these sacred teachings, exploiting religion to justify crimes against humanity. Furthermore, the Torah forbids Jews from establishing a state of their own, emphasizing instead the importance of being loyal citizens in their host nations, being peaceful neighbors, and adhering to divine law.
In Conclusion
Addressing the real root cause of the conflict is the only path to bring about true and lasting peace. The entire occupation of Palestine must end, all rights need to be restored to its people, including the full right of return, and the ideology of Zionism must be dismantled.
We stood by the people of Palestine before and during this genocide, and we will continue to stand with them until they achieve liberation. We pray for a future where humanity comes together to serve the Almighty in peace and unity.
Amen
Free Palestine
