After Ben & Jerry’s, a famous ice cream company, declared on July 19, 2021 that it would no longer sell its products in the Palestinian territories occupied by Israel, pro-Israeli organizations launched a boycott of its products, claiming that the decision was an act of anti-Semitism.
On August 12, while pro-Israelis held a rally in New York City protesting in front of Ben & Jerry’s shop in Times Square in Manhattan, Jewish opponents of Israel held a counter rally declaring that criticism of Israel is not anti-Semitic and supported Ben & Jerry in front of it’s shop in Times Square in Manhattan, NYC, for its recent decision to no longer sell its products in the Palestinian territories occupied by Israel.
