On Tuesday, September 24, 2024, thousands protested at Madison Square Park and marched through the streets of Manhattan in a demonstration called “Hands Off Lebanon,” organized by Within Our Lifetime. The protest followed Israeli bombardments that killed many, destroyed villages, and wounded countless others in Lebanon, amidst the ongoing genocide in Gaza. Anti-Zionist Jews attended the protest, holding banners that read, “Torah True Jews Demand: Hands Off Gaza, Hands Off Palestine, Hands Off Lebanon.”

After listening to speeches and chants, the crowd marched for hours to raise awareness about the ongoing crimes committed by Israel against the Palestinian people. Rabbi Yitzchok Deutsch spoke during the march in solidarity with Lebanon and Gaza, condemning Israel’s actions since the beginning of the occupation in 1948.
