Thousands Protest Genocide in Gaza in Mississauga, Demand End to Famine and Siege

Thousands of activists and anti-Zionist Jews protested in Mississauga, Canada, on August 1, 2025, to denounce Israel’s blockade of Gaza and condemn the ongoing genocide in the region. Following the rally, the protesters marched through the streets of Mississauga, demanding an end to the famine in Gaza, the lifting of the siege, and the end of the occupation.

A powerful voice at the demonstration was Rabbi Dovid Feldman, who addressed the crowd and spoke about the shame many Jews feel when Zionists use the Jewish religion to justify their crimes. Rabbi Feldman emphasized that, given the long history of suffering endured by the Jewish people, Jews understand the pain of oppression and must stand up to condemn injustice wherever it occurs.
