Thousands Protest in Manhattan Against Israeli Actions in Gaza

Thousands of pro-Palestinian protesters gathered in Manhattan on Thursday, December 28, 2023, to protest Israel’s ongoing genocide in Gaza. The “Flood NYC for Palestine” emergency march moved through several landmark sites in Lower Manhattan, including City Hall and Zuccotti Park, and ended at the front entrance of the World Trade Center. The protest called on the masses not to remain silent about the ongoing genocide in Gaza.

Anti-Zionist Jews joined the protest and marched in solidarity with the oppressed people of Gaza, condemning the occupation of Palestine.

Nerdeen Kiswani from Within Our Lifetime gave the platform to Rabbi Dovid Feldman, a representative of Neturei Karta, who expressed the Jewish opposition to Zionism. She highlighted the long-standing Jewish resistance to Zionism represented by Neturei Karta. and she emphasized that as long as Zionism has existed, there has been Jewish opposition.

“We are standing here with broken hearts after all these weeks and decades of witnessing genocide,” Rabbi Feldman said. He went on to explain that Zionism has hijacked Jewish identity and that these crimes should not represent Jews or Judaism.
