On Sunday, May 25, 2025, as Zionist groups gathered in Toronto for their annual “Walk for Israel” parade, a coalition of anti-Zionist Jews and pro-Palestinian supporters staged a peaceful protest against the celebration of 77 years of Zionism.
The protesters positioned themselves at the beginning of the parade route, along the sides of the march, and at the final destination where the event concluded. Their presence was marked by banners and signs mourning what they described as 77 years of rebellion against God and widespread human suffering.
They condemned the ongoing genocide in Gaza and called for justice, accountability, and an end to the decades of oppression tied to the Zionist movement.
