At the onset of the war, after the Zionist regime launched an unprovoked attack against Iran — carrying out airstrikes on key military and nuclear facilities across the country — Rabbi Yisrael David Weiss, international spokesman for Neturei Karta, voiced unwavering solidarity with the Islamic Republic of Iran. He affirmed this support for both the Iranian government and its people in response to the Israeli military aggression.
Rabbi Weiss condemned Zionism as a fundamental distortion of Judaism and a direct violation of the principles laid out in the Torah. According to Rabbi Weiss, the so-called “State of Israel” represents not only a political illegitimacy but also a spiritual rebellion against divine will.
He further expressed profound sorrow for the suffering of civilians in Iran caught in the Zionist attacks and also in Gaza and other regions affected by Israeli policies. Rabbi Weiss drew a clear connection between their plight and the broader consequences of Zionist expansionism, asserting that Zionism brings pain and destruction wherever it spreads.
