Rabbi Yisroel Dovid Weiss met with Abdullah Nekounam, Ambassador of the Islamic Republic of Iran in Brazil, to condemn the Zionist attack on the Islamic Republic and to convey a message of solidarity with the people and government of Iran from anti-Zionist Jews.
The visit came as Rabbi Weiss was in Brazil to speak at the Chamber of Deputies during an event commemorating the 77th anniversary of the Palestinian Nakba.
During the meeting, Rabbi Weiss took the opportunity to thank the government of Iran for its historical kindness toward Jews, stating that Iran has hosted Jewish communities with great respect from the past until the present day.
Rabbi Weiss also signed the memorial book for the martyrs of the brutal attack by the Zionist regime on Iran.
