On January 1, 2026 at the inauguration of New York City’s new mayor, Zohran Mamdani, near City Hall, thousands of anti-Zionist Jews gathered to show their support for Mamdani’s stance on Palestine and his rejection of Zionism, while clearly distinguishing between Judaism and Zionism. Rabbi Dovid Feldman and Rabbi Yisroel Dovid Weiss addressed the media and praised Mamdani’s cou2rage. Despite Zionist intimidation and false accusations of antisemitism, he stood firm for justice and truth.
