On Friday, April 17, 2026, as part of Palestinian Prisoners Day, demonstrators gathered in downtown Toronto to express sympathy and solidarity with the ongoing and worsening situation of Palestinian political prisoners held in Zionist prisons.
Participants at the rally emphasized growing concerns over recent Zionist crimes, particularly those associated with the extreme Zionist as Ben-Gvir, who pushed the new legislation that will allow the execution of the Palestinian political prisoners.
A delegation of anti-Zionist rabbis attended the event, adding a Jewish voice to the protest. Among them was Rabbi Dovid Feldman, who delivered a powerful speech that resonated strongly with the crowd.
Rabbi Feldman stressed that Zionism does not represent Judaism or the Jewish religion, drawing a distinction between political ideology and faith. His remarks were met with strong support from attendees, many of whom echoed his call for continued activism.
He encouraged those present to remain engaged and to strengthen their solidarity with the Palestinian people, urging ongoing awareness and public action.
