On Sunday, December 7, 2014, the Palestinian mayor of Jericho received a delegation of rabbis from Neturei Karta Palestine, headed by Rabbi Meir Hirsh. The meeting demonstrated the friendship that has always existed between the Arab and Jewish communities in Palestine.

The delegation also visited the Arafat Museum, where they recognized several gifts that had been presented over the years to the late Palestinian president Yasser Arafat by representatives of Neturei Karta.
