On July 30, 2014, during the 2014 Gaza War, wounded Palestinians were transferred to Mukassed Hospital in East Jerusalem. Rabbis from Jerusalem pays a solidarity visit, and brings sweets to comfort the wounded victims from Gaza and expressed their deep pain and anger over the events taking place in Gaza. The delegation met with doctors and family members. They denounced Zionism and the existence of the State of Israel. The rabbis also sent a letter of encouragement and clarified the Jewish opposition to the Zionists’ actions.
