Free Palestine Vigil in the Bronx: Rallying for Justice

On Sunday, October 15, at 2 PM, the Bronx Anti-War Coalition hosted a pro-Palestinian rally at Fordham Plaza. This event followed devastating Israeli attacks in Gaza, which claimed many innocent lives after over 76 years of occupation.

The rally featured representatives from the coalition, anti-Zionist Jews, and powerful speeches, including one by Rabbi Yisroel Dovid Weiss. A young Jewish child led chants, symbolizing the unity and determination of the participants.

Rabbi Weiss spoke about justice, highlighting the transformation of Judaism by the political movement of Zionism and the urgent need to defend Palestinian resistance against Israeli occupation. “It’s God’s will to have this opportunity to speak about justice and about the injustice that has happened,” he stated, elaborating on how Zionism diverges from traditional Judaism.
