Thousands Rally in Times Square to Celebrate Gaza Ceasefire and Demand Justice

On Thursday, January 16, 2025, thousands gathered in Times Square to celebrate the announcement of a ceasefire, marking the end of 15 months of devastating genocide against the people of Gaza. The rally brought together people from all walks of life, united in their relief and determination to hold Israel accountable for the atrocities committed during this period.

Amid chants of solidarity with Gaza and Palestine, the crowd called for an end to the occupation and justice for the victims. Rabbi Dovid Feldman delivered a powerful speech at the rally. Rabbi Feldman, an anti-Zionist Rabbi, expressed profound sorrow for the suffering in Gaza and hope for a future of a free Palestine.

Rabbi  Yitzchok Deutsch, declared, “We, as Jewish people, are with you. We are with Gaza. Our heart is broken.” He urged the world to confront the root cause of the conflict—Zionism—citing the teachings of holy Rabbis and warning of the dangers it poses to humanity. Rabbi Deutsch called on global leaders to take decisive action to end Zionism and its occupation, as the world begins to awaken to this reality.
