Rally in Washington, D.C. Marks Gaza Ceasefire and Calls for Justice

On Thursday, January 16, 2025, hundreds gathered outside the State Department in Washington, D.C., to celebrate the announcement of a ceasefire, ending 15 months of devastating violence against the people of Gaza. The rally was a powerful show of solidarity with Palestinians, as attendees demanded accountability for Zionist and imperialist war criminals and pledged to continue the fight for justice and liberation.

A delegation of anti-Zionist Jews joined the gathering, with Rabbi Yisroel Dovid Weiss addressing the situation in an interview with Al Jazeera. Rabbi Weiss acknowledged that while the ceasefire cannot restore the lives lost, it marks the beginning of a complete victory for the Palestinian people.

After listening to passionate speeches, the crowd marched in unity with Gaza and Palestine, reaffirming their commitment to the struggle for freedom and justice.
