Protest for Palestine: Rally Against Zionist Occupation and Ethnic Cleansing Held in NYC

“Protest for Palestine and Hands Off the Middle East” was held at the New York Public Library (NYPL) in New York City. The event followed a new wave of Zionist assaults on Palestine, which have continued even during the supposed ceasefire. Additionally, new ethnic cleansing plans have been announced, further exacerbating the ongoing occupation that has persisted for over 76 years.

The protest was led by the Palestine Youth Movement (PYM) along with other grassroots organizations supporting Palestine. The rally began at 6 PM, with activists, students, and community members gathering to chant slogans and deliver speeches condemning the Zionist occupation of Palestine.

During the event, a group of Zionist supporters gathered nearby and attempted to disrupt the proceedings. However, their efforts were largely unsuccessful as participants remained focused and undeterred. Anti-Zionist Jews stood on the sidelines, making it clear that they opposed the actions of those supporting the genocide.

TRT World reported on the incident, noting that one of the anti-Zionist rabbis emphasized that Zionists do not represent the Jewish religion but rather the Genocide. the rabbi stated. “They need to release the hostage called Palestine, who has been held hostage for over 76 years.”

Rabbi Yisroel Dovid Weiss addressed the rally, saying: “The Jewish nation, who witnessed the horrors of the Holocaust, is pleading with President Trump—and the world—not to support Zionism and their ethnic cleansing of Palestinians.”

After the speeches and chants, the crowd marched to the New York Times building, carrying a powerful message to the global press: unity against Zionism must be amplified, and this struggle deserves widespread media attention.
