Marking a year of the ongoing genocide, on Monday, October 7, 2024, people gathered in Ottawa to protest the Israeli genocide in Gaza.
Rabbi Yisroel Dovid Weiss spoke at the event, condemning the State of Israel and the horrific crimes committed against the Palestinian people. He emphasized that Zionism is not the same as Judaism and questioned the silence of the world, asking, “How can the world remain silent?”
After the speeches, the crowd marched through the streets in solidarity with Gaza.
