On January 9, 2023, members of the anti-Zionist Jewish community visited the Jenin refugee camp in a gesture of solidarity with Palestinians suffering under the Zionist occupation. Days later, Zionist media launched a heated campaign demanding that these brave voices be silenced and calling for the arrest of these courageous individuals.
The arrests are widely seen as an attempt to suppress the voices of anti-Zionist Jews who advocate for coexistence and justice.
During their arrest and the ongoing intimidation, anti-Zionist Jews and pro-Palestinian activists held a press conference at the United Nations, demanding the release of the detained delegates and the masses of Palestinian political prisoners. Additional protests took place in London.
Rabbi Hirsch, speaking from Jerusalem, highlighted that the visit symbolized peaceful coexistence in a free Palestine.
After some time, the detainees were released under heavy restrictions. Despite the challenges, the anti-Zionist community remains resolute in their struggle against Zionism, reaffirming their commitment to continuing the fight for justice and peace.
