The Bible

Thus said the L-rd: I am going to bring disaster upon this place and its inhabitants, in accordance with all the words of the scroll which the king of Judah has read. Because they have forsaken Me and have made offerings to other gods and vexed Me with all their deeds, My wrath is kindled against this place and it shall not be quenched.
(II Kings 22:17-18)

And the L-rd said to me: From the north shall disaster break loose upon all the inhabitants of the land! For I am summoning all the peoples of the kingdoms of the north —declares the L-rd.
They shall come, and shall each set up a throne before the gates of Jerusalem, against its walls round about, and against all the towns of Judah. And I will argue My case against them for all their wickedness: They have forsaken Me and sacrificed to other gods and worshiped the works of their hands.
(Jeremiah 1:14-16)

I will deliver all Judah into the hands of the king of Babylon; he will exile them to Babylon or put them to the sword. And I will deliver all the wealth, all the riches, and all the prized possessions of this city, and I will also deliver all the treasures of the kings of Judah into the hands of their enemies: they shall seize them as plunder and carry them off to Babylon.
(Jeremiah 20:4-5)

For I have set My face against this city for evil and not for good—declares the L-rd. It shall be delivered into the hands of the king of Babylon, who will destroy it by fire.”
(Jeremiah 21:10)

And I will scatter you among the nations, and winnow you in the lands, and I will destroy your defilement from you (the Radak explains that in exile, G-d put an end to the Jewish people’s worship of idols).
(Ezekiel 22:15)
