Religious Jews supporting Palestinian students at GW University
During the George Washington University graduation at the National Mall in Washington, DC, on Sunday, May 19, 2024, a student-led rally called for their administration to divest from Israel.
Among their supporters present was a group of religious Jews displaying banners reading: “Don’t buy Zionist propaganda, anti-Zionism is NOT anti-Semitism,” “Judaism condemns the State of Israel and its atrocities,” and “Authentic Rabbis always opposed Zionism and the State of Israel.” Rabbi Dovid Feldman from Neturei Karta International was interviewed.
